yeah I can't see how a chainsaw could get all the old wood out. The local Arjay dealer told me to use a chain saw too. He said between the chainsaw and a long pry bar clean it out the best you can...

I never use the stuff in my boat or my small engines. The damage is from installing and removing the connector dry. The oring is physically damaged.
