never noticed the slow redraw on ours. Im always in auto course up, though.

Buddy had a 1850 and it was slow. So slow it would mess up the depth part also.

I have seen the transducer mounting location on the whaler site. This boat is trailered and not sure about putting a big ducer (thru-hull) there.

I have been kicking around the idea of building an aluminum bracket for the 1kw bronze thru-hull. Saw airmar had one at one time.

What do you think? I would...

I've seen a TR-1 in action and it is unbelievable. That is all I can say. This was on a 26' CC

split the jetties from 35 miles out in 3' following sea. I was impressed.
