Garmin Bathymetric ?

I just unlocked this part of my Bluechart 6.5 CD. I am good with the BlueChart Charts but the Bathymetric charts are driving me nuts. It seems that the Bluechart plates overlay most of the bathy...

RE: SeaVee 31'

The biggest difference in the ride for me were a few things.

1. The Contender is a loud boat. You can hear every slap againt the hull.
2. The faster you go in the 31 SeaVee, the boat tends to...

RE: SeaVee 31'

That is my SeaVee construction thread listed above. My 31 will be delivered tomorrow. The detail that SeaVee puts into there boats is incredible. I have many, many hours on 31 Contenders. The ride of...

RE: Trip to the Berry Islands

We have been to Flo's often from GHC. Be very careful how you run there. If you have a large boat you will have to run around the north side of GHC and run the ocean down. If you have a small boat...

RE: Most Fuel Efficient 225s or 250s?

Mark424 hit it on the head,

The VVT that Suzuki has is the key. I also have the SeaVee 31 on order. We have discussed it in the past. I am almost positive I am going with the DF250's. I've said...

RE: Suzuki DF250 or Verado 250 - which would you buy?

BigG and others,

All I want is a dependable engine. I do not think we will be doing upper controls, just a lookout on the hardtop. With that being said, the Suzuki looks more attractive to me. I...

RE: 1 fuel tank or 2

Why not replace with a 80 gal tank and only fill it halfway up when you want?

Paying for your 2yr old to fly

My daughter just turned 2 last week and I'm trying to make plans to go to the Bahamas on a semi-commercial flight (yellow air taxi out of FLL). If she still sits on my lap should i still cough up the...

RE: F225 problem?

I am no expert but take this into account.

Did you check the oil agian after the engine sat and cooled down for a while. oil needs to settle and cool to get a proper reading on the dip stick.

RE: 34 seavee or 32 regulator or 33 palmetto

The 31 Seavee would fit better into your comparison. You get all the same features of the 34 in a more reasonable package. The ride of the 31 is actually much better than the 34 SeaVee and all the...

RE: goldline 26

I just bought one with a condo I got in the Bahamas. Although we are not planning on keeping the boat, I really like it. This particular one is a 93 in mint condition with a 2002 Yamaha F225. The...

RE: Suzuki Outboard Owners (200hp and larger)

I am pretty sure I will be getting the DF250's for our boat on order. (SeaVee31). The engines are great. The only thing I did not like was the gauges, but I just heard this week that Suzuki will have...

RE: Suzuki DF250 or Verado 250 - which would you buy?

The engines are going on our SeaVee 31 due in Oct. I will have time to see the verado's in action by that time. As I have said before here, the boat will be used in the Bahamas much of the time. All...

Suzuki DF250 or Verado 250 - which would you buy?

This is the question that I will be faced with.

From the prices I have, it appears that the Verados are about 10-12% more than the Suzukis.

RE: blistered donzi sank my BW. buying Angler over Scout

Hi,

I'm 14 and I'm pricing out a 36 contender. Should I put triple 300's on it. Also, how many Tiagra 50's, 80's and 130' are enough for this boat. They will all be on Finest Kind Rods with Gold...

SeaVee 31 Forum

Well, I had to start a new one I guess.

BigG,
let's talk a little more about your tower setup. I see that you are placing a 48" array on the key west hardtop in front of the tower. Is that all...
