There is O and o27 which use the same width track. The 027 is smaller than O and can make the tight turns above. Some of the longer o engines and passengers cars need much larger turns than shown...

i would also power wash the bottom and outdrives. you don't need a slick of oil or slime in the pool when it is removed. I certainly would not tilt the engines down or run them in the pool.
