Friend of mine has busted the cowling on his Johnson Ocean Pro outboard model J150VXSIG. It is, of course, the 60 DEG V6 block.

Just a thought that since you say it 'really rides low in the back', you could have a lot of water in the hull. Enough water in there and you won't get it up on a plane and your RPMs will be low...
