Do get an oem manual for your motor. You can find them as PDFs too...I personally like a physical book.

If squeezing the primer bulb fixes your issue then I am 99.99% sure it is the fuel pump..

I hate high speed power pack issues...so hard to diagnose as it passes the idle speed DVA reading specs

I doubt the pulse limiter...but a new one is pretty cheap.

I suspect the fuel pump since squeezing the primer bulb makes it run fine...you did buy a new primer bulb right?

Fine with going to new tech, but this seems odd...high dollar motors that a niche group people have no problem paying....

well that is NOT good news.....looking up part (438559 fuel pump) that does NOT look like the right fuel pump...the big v6 motors will need the pump that is actually two pumps that work in tandem...

I like your idea on how to do the limber holes....if you over drill the hole , fill with thickened resin, then redrill smaller holes then I am 99.99% sure you will be fine as far as rot..

the sensor is called the Vacuum Switch...if the vacuum gets to high > 5 inhg it sounds the alarm and Check Engine light for fuel obstruction.
The pin hole is to allow the diaphragm inside to move...
