Up here in NE with 9-10 ft tides that is considered a nuisance. We're used to old pilings and trees floating around the harbors and bays.

700 hours is nothing for a well maintained 454. If it is fresh water cooled it's fine. If raw water cooled in salt then stay away.

Some of the electric tabs react much more quickly than the hydraulic ones. It would follow that with a larger tab installed on an electric actuator it might result in an uncontrollable situation....
