That is the sort of thing I am worried about. My friend can't afford to lose the money!

I have a friend who is seriously considering buying a Buddy Davis 34 CC from Carolina Boat Works who apparently is building this model now. (I thought it was B&D, but that appears to be old...

RE: Scout 262 Abaco Tech Question

Many thanks! I sort of figured that would never work, but the Honda does seem to be a viable solution -- which makes the 262 a viable option to me. Now to see if I can get this past the wife !

RE: Question for Sea Hunt c.c. owners

Well, I guess I can't help you because I have an older one without the gas assisted struts. Mine don't pop open (unless the fixed part of the latch has turned and the nib is no longer pointing up). ...

RE: Scout 262 Abaco Tech Question

Re: Do you use transom straps while towing?

I rather like that idea. Where did you get them? (Sounds like something you might get at Home Depot?)

RE: Trim Tab Wiring Issue

Sounds like a short. You need to get a continuity tester (ohm meter) and check to see (with the power off) if your hot wire has continuity to ground. If it does, you have a short and you need to...

RE: 150 yamaha over heat temp

The overheat sensor trips at 130 C (about 260 F). When it trips, the buzzer sounds and it shuts down the cylinders sequentially to reduce the temperature of the engine. (That is why the engine...
