Well the crawl space with the 30 gallon limitation tilts the consideration more toward the tankless. Just keep the math in mind:
BTUH = flow rate x temp rise x 8.3 (the weight of a gallon of water)...

So in winter with water coming in at 50 degrees the 35 degree rise gives you only a temp of 85 at 6.3 GPM. What do they say it will provide at a 70 degree rise?

In the North we figure at least an 80 degree rise (from 40 to 120 degrees). So 6.3 x 8.3x80x60= 251,000 BTUH. Tankless heaters are 82% thermal efficient so you...
