That's a good idea..I will try it,but I don't think so.The intake comes out of the water just a bit in rough seas and there lies the source.It is a real pia when you need live bait to fish.Mike

Went out today to a local wreck.Seas were 2 ft.You have to go slow.The manual says 3-8 mph.The slower you go the cleared the picture.Its a nice tool to have.pictures are impressive.Capt.Mike
