Don't be on the defensive. I am an alloy boat fan. But yes it is scary to think that an unknown stay current ate a hole in the transom. I'm sure this would have any alloy owner second guessing wiring...

Most of the Pacific Northwest boats are very similar once you throw on a house or a T-top with a forward slanted windshild. The hulls have that boxy look but that means more room. I like the standard...

No need for the sarcasm Alloy Toy. That is the way wiring should be done on all boats. But to protect the integrity of your alloy vessel even more so.

Pretty scary. Double crimped terminals with heat shrink, rubber grommets in all holes that wires pass through and wire loom tubing are a must.
