Re: Lowrance 350A transducer

You will not be able to use the 350A transducer with an newer sounder, reason being that they use different frequencies, the 350A used 192khz while the new ones use 200khz.

Re: electric reels

The Precision Auto reels by Anthony Ng are the only way to go. I had several Electra-Mates and wound up sending them all back for work every year. I've now had my Precision Auto Reels for about 10...

Re: Some Advice?!!?

I went through the same thing a few years ago when I purchased a semi-custom boat, no blue book values because of this, I wound up calling a couple of dealers in that boat in the area and they told...

Re: Lowrance radar

Lowrance had some problems with the RIM100, I spent 8 hours trying to get mine to work, simply wouldn't power up, they sent me a new one next day and it worked fine, some also would shut down after a...

Re: Nauticpath Problems Contine Please help

Navionics had some older charts do that, try putting the map chip into the unit after the unit is turned on and see if that solves the problem, a couple of years ago that was the only way to get some...

Re: Navionic coverage in the Northwest

Navionics does make lake charts for the Northwest. They added a whole bunch of Lakes last year and ask for anglers to tell them of Lakes they would like mapped. They did Banks lake a couple of years...

Re: Lowrance LCX-17

I had the same problem two years ago with a 111HD, it was the power cord, as soon as I replaced it the problem went away.

Re: LCX 111cHD Question

Your 111 already has the Lowrance Lakes chart installed in it also. You access it the same way you got to the Nauticpath charts.

LRA1000 will work fine for you lugger, you can spend the extra money on tackle. I agree that it is a piece of safety equipment, especially if you are running out of Neah Bay or Ucluelet in July,...

Re: Lowrance SAM module for X-85

That model has been out of production for a while, I doubt you are going to find a SAM for it anyplace. If the unit is losing bottom like you say it generally means there is a power drop some where,...

Re: New Radar Mount Needed

I put one of the Seaview radar mounts on my boat last year, I really like it, it's well made and thought out, even included bushings for the bolts and instructions that actually made sense.

Re: 2007 halibut quota set

It gets back to Money talks. The Commercial Lobby has the money and we don't. IPHC, PFMC, NMFS and WDFW are captive agencies, they are controlled by the commercial interests and until that changes...

Re: Which radar system to choose?

I'd go with the 4KW with CRT. More power, narrower horizontal beam width, better target seperation, more range, larger screen, the down side is the price is more, and the CRT takes up a lot more room...
