Mice in attic. (Actually rats!)

What is the best solution? I have not seen one but can hear them from below. The attic has spots that cant be accessed by a human. Should I put poison blocks up there or glue traps or both?

The other passes are called Emeline and Kimbel. You can run them but they are shallow at the end especially at low river and low tide. It is hard sand so I would advise to stay in Baptists Collette.
