Register it in RI for 6 months then transfer to Fla...... NO tax.

I think one thing that might be happening to kevdog's stereo is that the rf is saturating the audio amp in the stereo receiver.....probably from frequency interference and right from the rf...

Radio receives but won't transmit

DO NOT by any means xmit with your radio with the antenna disconnected.....it is one of the best ways to blow the final transistors in your radio and if the finals blow, throw the radio away...
