I have the 511 autopilot and it works very well....

I have the 511 autopilot and it works very well. Connects with one wire to my 1834, although there is a lot more stuff to hook up the AP. The Furuno AP comes with the heading sensor but not the pump.

750 would be a very good buy in my opinion. I have the Furuno 511 and it's a very good autopilot. I would think it should sell for more, but of course you would need to find someone to pay more.

I sent in my AP one time and was also impressed with the CS. Had it back in no time and they updated the software.

Ucf, their rates are very reasonable, I mean like 10 dollars an hour shop time....

I'll bet the wires going to your engine are bigger the #6. 6 may be recommended for the ACR but that has nothing to do with starting your engine or connecting your battery banks (ground).

The only thing I've heard of that may be coming, is the fly-by-wire controls. I still think is a few years away from the 150 though. Worth checking into if you're going to have multi-stations.
