I have always run BFG All Terrains on my F150, including plowing with it. I moved to a 2019 F250 and that has Michelin AT2's on it and I was impressed with them in the snow, not as good as the BFG....

There is no issue with that. I have done that with cars. Basically all it is doing is saving the seller sales tax on the new boat. Dealers do it as a courtesy to the buyer.
