Old eyes say that I’m getting a new dive computer. Thoughts from the peanut gallery with regards to easy to see... easy to use dive computers. Thanx!!

The new stuff from Shearwater is the best in my opinion. Bright, vibrant displays. Feature rich but extremely user friendly. The Perdix if you want a console style, the Teric if you want a watch style.

Shearwater. They are also built like tanks so you can't kill them on the dive boats. I have 2 predators and wife has 2 petrels. Over 1000 dives on my preds and she's got over 600 on her petrels. Just change batteries and dive!

Sfaatz makes a good point, they are very well built. If you don't want to spend the money on a new one you can buy used with reasonable confidence. And their support is excellent.

Mares Nemo Wide. Big, easy to read, and only $210. Three of my dive buddies have them and I can read them on their wrist from 10 feet away.

Default Aqualung I-550 report

After 20 dives, This unit could not be any easier to use. Easy to see both in and out of the water. Setting Nitrox is easy. And downloading dives to laptop with their free software is a breeze. This has been a great choice for me!!
