Curious to learn the answer. I would imagine that the texture of Line-X could present a performance issue on the hull below the waterline, but perhaps there is a smooth textured version that will work without creating drag.

I know a guy who lined his bottom on a old house boat, lasted about a month and it all peeled off in big sheets, he was on a fresh water corps of engineers lake and they fined him and he had to hire a diver to retrieve the stuff off the bottom of the lake under his dock.

Prep is key to success. I have lined work barges for manatee County. Years in service and zero issues.

If the boat has bottom paint would that need to be removed first?
