Exclamation Cleanup & Application History.

We have been spraying Line-X on boats full time for 7 plus years. We started with Line-X Xtra a Kevlar paint system Line-X and Dupont teamed up on. It allowed us to color code trucks and boats with a UV tough system. The issue was Xtra's UV performance is limited to the surface, and I wanted to spray $250,000 boats.
My vision was to put out the same finish we had with Xtra but with unlimited UV performance. I have worked closely with Line-X Corp on the launch of the Aspart-X Floor System & Line-X Premium for trucks. 3 years ago while talking with our head chemist about what I wanted he informed me that for two years prior they have been dialing a new molecule in that allowed a full thickness UV polyurea. Thier target was Disney where 10,000 footsteps a day would be the service environment. SEND ME SOME!
The Line-X material is designated XS650 and is seen on the storm chasers vehicles on Discovery Channel. The material is very expensive and really requires a dedicated machine and specialized spray gun. Great I will set up a spray system and off we go to Line-X marine heaven! That was three years ago! Three long years of putting in 100's of hours of in shop R&D. We had all kinds of issues come at us but what I was seeing was very promising. The XS-650 was stronger then the material we put in trucks which keeps the weight down, has a smaller texture size which results in a more refined finish & has unlimited UV performance!
The major issues we solved and are keeping close to the vest are fuel stains and providing an easy to clean non-skid. Below are a couple of videos detailing the performance.

In this video we are cleaning up a customers boat that we sprayed 6 months ago. the boat was stored at our shop under an oak tree for 3 months. The amount of tree mold was significant and on a regular fiberglass boat would have been insane to clean!

I am going to be restoring a 9ft whaler for my daughter to use when she gets a little bigger. Have a soft spot in the deck and wet foam. I am going to be contacting you when I get the floor and foam fixed to spay the boat. Your work looks perfect and will last for years.
