Almost done! The enclosure is finished and the work is top notch, with some cool custom features. (We left the paper backing on for protection until I get it home) Anyone that needs canvas should talk to Kevin at KTM Canvas in Sarasota.
All thats left is rigging/wiring and I hope to have it home within the week.

I'll check out your thread. Looking forward to some buddy boat trips!

Jesus that enclosure is badass! KTM did my enclosure on my 24 and did a great job. I stay dry in the ocean passing large center consoles who have turned around
Your boat is going to be nice and dry!

Some very slick tank storage. Total of 20 spots, with plenty of room for more. The standard vertical gun racks. Fold-down grab handle on the hard top to spot cobes. Hatch in the hard top with ladder access from inside. The linex on the deck of course. All kinds of other custom goodies. Stay tuned

Here's a few pics:
Batteries and rigging:

The center section of the enclosure swings up and clips to the hard top for airflow:

12 tanks go vertically in that center box. 24" below deck height. Seat is obviously lacking upholstery and finish work, but will be offshore racing style powered bolster with shock mitigating foam padding.

looking back at cockpit. its freakin huge!

Looks very nice. But a quick question, from the looks of it, it seems like you the driver will be getting water coming down the sides of the gunwales after spraying on the canvas. Thoughts?

There is a folding rear bench set but I really went for minimal fixed seating to maximize deck sq footage. Bringing scooters into the equation changes everything when it comes to required space. Just gonna have a bunch of beanbags and throw them in the cuddy when its time to dive.
...Wish I had the budget for a pair of new 300s yams like you hung. But hopefully I get a few good years out of the zukes and save up some cash, then hang some new 300s.
You make a good point. Not sure it will be an issue, maybe only on the nastiest of days, but could always have a piece of canvas made for the driver side that extends the enclosure back a bit. Eventually gonna do roll up aft panels so I can enclose the whole thing anyway.

that rubrail is driving me nuts too, gonna have update to the new white style.

The cockpit is LONG. Room for 4 tank racks and still plenty of room behind that for 2 divers per side. Also means tanks dont block rear fishbox lids.

Getting close. The enclosure really completes the express look:

Sick refit. Love the idea of converting the 31Cuddy
Do you just stow to box lid when the tanks go in or is it over the original console space so the tanks are below the lid ?

Boat looks great! I have always wondered how a 31 would look with an express layout. AMazing!!!
I've been thinking about makralon b/c I need to redo my enclosure this year. About how much did it run you for the 5 panel? Mine looks very similar. I got some outlandish quotes so far from a few companies.

BTW we got it very bloody this weekend and I was impressed by the non-stick properties of the linex. It hoses out very easily. So far so good on the durability, I will report back after a few hundred hours of use.
