I saw a video of an East coast spearo taking one off of a 10 foot Tiger shark, that is crazy!

well if you can find the time and summon the balls, come play any time. You have an open invite and I'll watch your back with 357 reasons for the sharks to keep their distance.

This conversion will be sick, can't wait to see the pics. The center island will be awesome for setting up. Nothing beats the crap out of your boat like spearfishing, esp with tanks. That Linex will be the ticket.
Are you spraying the undersurfaces of the hatches as well? If not, i would definitely recommend it.
You are right about the ride w/ the tanks down low. On my 27, I could put 7 steel tanks in the center console and it rode like a diesel with all of that weight central and in the hull.
Are you using the original console or are they making a new piece?
Keep us updated.

That is true. He got a nasty bite and has been working his ass off in PT to recover. While I wasn't there that day, I was on the same boat the previous day. It shook us all up a lot and has changed a lot of our diving habits. But he got right back in the water. That video was shot after the bite.
Thanks for the compliments. I did not have the undersides of hatches sprayed, but may do it eventually.
We built a new console. Pic below. We sold the old console/t-top/leaning post. The new one won't be as big but will still house a Garmin 5215 and other gauges with no problem. The single helm chair is going to be sick custom piece too.

Awesome. Hopefully you or BoatHaus will put up a thread in the general section as well so everyone can see this bad boy.

Brian, truly beautiful work!!! I am so excited to get this boat put together and put some hard hours on it. I will continue to update this thread with reviews of how the linex coating holds up to our abuse. But after seeing it in person, I have to say the quality of the work is VERY impressive. It looks awesome, and judging by the samples I saw, and how this the coating is, I am very confident that it will hold up just fine.
