For truck beds, do you have to sand or scratch the paint or just apply to the factory paint job?

Have you ever Line-X window frames? if so is there any problem with the sealing of the glass to the frame?

It makes it almost impossible. We are fighting the saltwater environment and protecting as much as possible is critical for long-term success.

I read about 8 pages looking for this question about doing the pipe work on a T top while it is on the boat. Went to the last page and found what I was looking for. I was really hoping that this could be done on the boat. It would be a ton of work getting everything unrigged. I wanted to get all the pipe work done!! Really enjoyed looking at all the work you guys have done. Really nice job.

From a timeframe/travel perspective, how long would it take to complete a bow rail, t-top, leaning post, and armstrong bracket for a 26' Regulator? I don't believe anyone closer to me is doing what you do yet, and I want it done correctly.

Normally 1-2 weeks max. However, we have been on a black Ultra run for the last month so I have a small white batch waiting. But the norm is 1-2 weeks...

Default Question on an outboard bracket

I'm here in Naples (1.5 hours away ) and I'm thinking I want to line x my twin outboard bracket. Prior to finding this solution I have removed my motors and stripped/ sanded my Armstrong bracket to bare aluminum (with the intention of painting) .
My question is can you finish the work with the bracket attached to the boat or do I need to remove it?
My plan would be to trailer the boat to you. Thanks

We have done the brackets on the boat but much prefer to do them off. We sandblast, acid wash and prime prior to the Line-X. And considering we are trying to battle corrosion it is best to try to protect things as much as possible. Getting the bracket off should just take some constant pressure.
