Does the new Fusion Apollo fit in the hole cutout for the Fusion 750 if surface mounted???

The Apollo is smaller, you'll need a trim panel or glass work.

Apollo is taller but narrower than the 755/750.
i want to upgrade my 650 and im looking into the 750 just to avoid messing with the mounting hole. (I would rather the Apollo but i have a cruiser so messing with the woodwork in the cabin doesnt appeal me..)

Im looking for the 755 because it has ANT10 functionality to control it with my Quatix watch ; the 750 doesnt have it. (Sorry for going off topic).

I installed it with no problems and do understand why they might need a retrofit kit but in my case I did not need it. The BIGGER issue is the fact the total width is much less so the screw holes from the 750 are NOT covered

WHY FUSION!?!?! Now I have holes in my new dash all because I wanted to upgrade!

Yes and thanks. However it states in the instructions that the sun cover will no longer fit with this kit... Single DIN is the standard and yet they want to fooook it up like many have tried before and it never works out.

So the choices are use the kit and have not cover for the all class screen, live with holes or get another new dash panel made... argh

I do see where they sell another kit that includes the cover after more research but it would have been nice for Fusion to offer that for loyal and repeat customers (this is my 5th purchase)...

How is the screen brightness in the sun? I've read a few complaints.

I will say it does not seem as bright as the old 755. Wearing polarized sunglasses almost makes it seem it is in low light modes... I can deal with it but it would be nice if it were brighter.
