Default 1998 Mercruiser 454 7.4 BBC EFI Engine, Velvet Trans, Stainless Marine Manifolds.

Selling my seized 1998 Mercruiser 454 7.4 EFI engine.

Its seized. Didnt invest any time or money to investigate what failed. Just was ready to repower. It was meticulously cared for with all maintenance history since new.

It comes with brand new Stainless Marine Manifolds and stainless marine Risers. 1 hr on the manifolds, purchased in May 2018. Full warranty goes with the manifolds 5yr I believe and will supply the receipt. Manifolds alone are 1800 if you trade in a old set. 2000 off the shelf. Risers were another 1,500.

Borg Warner Velvet Drive 20-01-003 1.586.1 Transmission.

3 yr old heat exchanger

Brand New Alternator from lauderdale battery

All Gauges and wiring included. Tach, fuel, voltage, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temp. and throttle lever.

Asking 2,000 for the complete longblock. part it out and make some money or rebuild the block and your good to go with a powerful BBC. We cruised at 27kts and top end was 40kts.

priced at 2,000 pretty much for the value of the stainless marine manifolds and risers, and the bulletproof transmisssion.

Came off our 23' Seacraft straight inboard.

Located at Sundance Marine, in fort lauderdale.

As much as I'd like to say FIRM on price. I'm open to offers or willing to part it out.
