Like the title says, I'm trying to get a sense of the value of these engines as I toy with the idea of a repower. They are in perfect functioning shape and run great. Cosmetically decent. Would come with rigging if wanted by the buyer as I'd be going to electronic binnacle. Located in MD.

I'm in the process of repowering now and I just purchased a pr. of 2006 F250TXR & LF 250TXR with 720 hours, rigging included for $8,000 each. Compression was 190+ in all cylinders and cosmetically they were very good.
I also found a pr of F250's with 3,000 hrs. Seller wanted $6,500 each for them. No rigging in that deal.
Should give you two reference points.

Sold mine 2006's with 1800 hrs on here for $6500 but one had low compression. I would say say around $8k if everything checked out okay. Look for Strouds Marine. Caleb buys used engines (he bought mine) and is first class guy to deal with. Upfront and quick payment.

I sold my pair of 2006 F250's with just over 2k hours for $9k including rigging two months ago. Cowlings were original and had some minor scratches. You're in the neighborhood with $10k.

All PMs replied to, thanks for the interest. Still on the fence on repowering but willing to entertain offers. Have folks interested in the pair as well as single engines.
