Default New Profish 700 Windlass parts

Is your freefall not working because of mangled cap threads? Want freefall on your Lewmar Profish? Does your gypsy slip?

Solve all these problems with a brand new, unused gypsy and freefall cap for less than half of what it would cost to buy parts from Lewmar.

The gypsy handles 1/4" chain and 1/2" line.

The cap can also upgrade a non freefall windlass to freefall. The following Pro-Series units are possible to upgrade:
  • From 2006 all Pro-Series produced will have the larger second compound gear fitted
  • Compatible Guide:
    • First 3 digits of compatible Pro-series Unit serial numbers:
      • 561***
      • 571***
$150 shipped.

I have the 1000 and love it, the freefall is a great luxury. Couldnt see using power down only.

Great buy for whoever purchases it. Didn't know you could turn a power down into a freefall.

GLWS.

No, I don't. I suppose Lewmar has a repair shop around somewhere.

If you need help, shoot me a PM. The cutting tools were like $25 bucks on Amazon. This is a great deal on a new set.

Yes, you can re-thread them a few times, each time sooner than the last. At some point, the bronze threads in the cap will not hold the thread anymore. I carried this one as a spare.

Another problem is that the freefall plunger spring in the cap gets tired.

Best thing is not to let the windlass jam-ever, but that is not really possible with these.

Unless your shaft threads are mangled, which is unlikely as they are SS and the cap threads are bronze, the cap should fix your free fall.

Both parts are brand new.
The gypsy takes 1/4" chain and 1/2 line.

I do not have the bolt. If you can figure out what size it is you can order one online.

I messaged you the Paypal instructions. Once payment is received, I'll send the parts to the address Paypal provides for you.

I'll take second dibs. I've got a 5/8 and it's overkill

well it turns out I watched a vid on the free fall and I might have an issue with that gear and bearing inside so I am going back inside of the windlass again before I purchase this hub and gypsy
