Gil,

Can you go over the +/- of the two choices below? The DownVu vs GCV10

840xs............................................. ....... $1499.99 . GCV 10 / 840xs bundle ...for $1889.
840xs.......w/ DownVu transducer......$1599.99 .

Use will be for bottom fishing 50-240 FT. I have settled on the 841XS but the extras have me perplexed.

Also can you pm me with estimates shipped to 33196.

Glad to help...

Free shipping anywhere lower 48...and no sales tax you area either.

The 840xs with the GCV 10 bundle has the best bottom and side detail.
That is because it is a back box unit with a far better transducer...and a full CHIRP system.

But if you choose the other unit and find it does not work ..I will make it easy for you to upgrade to the GCV 10....etc.

Feel free to call my 800 number and I will gladly go overall the differences of these units fore you.

Gil

I don't.

It is a Seastar, would it be printed on the cylinder somewhere?

Also, which of these two would you recommend for my application? Garmin GHP10, or the GHC 20?

great talking to Gil today. I was considering getting Garmin 741xs and TM150, but probably will go with 840s and a tru-hull transducer instead.

Good question..and the answer is no.

For any units we ship ...there is no sales tax required or charged for Fla residents.

Does the Simrad nss9 require any additional equipment other than the TM150 to get going?
And does it show as much detail as the Garmin 841xs does in your info above.
Thanks , trying which one to get for my boat
