Did you think about just getting the 17P changed to maybe 18P? It think that stainless steel props can go 1" in pitch change with no issues? I think the cost is under $100 a prop to do that.
I'm thinking about doing that with my 17P.

I was quoted close to $400 to repitch and balance per prop so I passed.
