Default 2007 DF150 shaking

During my last trip, the motor starting shaking a lot at idle (both in gear & neutral). Under 1000 rpm it is shaking so bad that you can feel the hull vibrating. Replaced IAC valve this morning and it didn't fix the issue. Any suggestions?

Dump your fuel filter and see if there is water there. Take the spark plugs out and look carefully at the tips. Look for water droplets or weird deposits. Check compression.

Start with that.

as suggested above, check your fuel filters and change the spark plugs to begin with. A bad plug will keep one cylinder from running and make it rough. A compression check while you have plugs out is a good idea as well. Also check your oil for water contamination.

@outboard specialties My 2003 D140 had water contamination from salt buildup in the oil cooler. Swapped the oil cooler out and did about 4 oil changes back to back, to get rid of as much residue as possible.. Put a few hours on it since all that went down, and it hasn't missed a beat... yet.
Not sure how to tell how much damage I did, short of tearing it down. Any ideas if it would be worthwhile to send send off an oil sample to blackstone?

If all seems ok and no more water in oil then you are probably good. I would keep running it and check the oil periodically.
