I have a 2003 Grady White 257 Advance - currently powered by a Yamaha F225

We are considering repowering to a Suzuki 300.

Any insight on what we can expect for specs?

Is it a good fit for us?

The suzuki 300 will be a great fit on that hull. Your current 225 is a weak motor for that boat, the new 300 will give you much more torque and power to plane off quicker and handle loads better.

Hi Mike. I am looking to repower my Hydra Sports 2500 walk around. Currently has two DF140's on it. I am thinking of repowering with a single DF350 . I would need a 30 inch motor, side mount control, C-10 gauge, harness, etc. Does Suzuki still allow owners to mount motors themselves? (I did my df140's) Thanks.

Mike,

I have a 98 Kencraft Challenger 190 with a 2002 Merc 115 Efi extra long shaft on it at the moment. While the motor has never let me down she is getting older and I'm considering repowering to a zuke after this season. Ever put a 140 on the Challenger 190? Or would 115 be the way to go? Currently feels a bit under powered.

Would love to get a ballpark quote to help me along in this decision as I know this motor I have now isnt going to last forever.

Thank you!
