Default Df 300 won't start

2018 df 300 485 hours. Started like normal idled for about 10 minutes & quite. No alarms. Tries to start & spudders out. Changed raycor & cartridge filter on front of motor = no difference. Canister pump on front of motor runs the usual 10-15 seconds & shuts off another pump in Back of motor constantly runs as long as key is on. Motor is under warranty & dealership is close by but would really like to know the problem. Raycor did have 2-3 bottle caps of water it the bowl but nothing really unusual have already done 2 offshore trips this season so fresh gas. Yes I run ethonol gas except for winter storage then I fill up wit non ethanol. Also batterys are fully charged
any advice will be greatly appreciated

I would start with having water in the filter, you'll need to drain all the filters and vst on motor to make sure no water is in the rest of the system. I would then run off a portable tank with fresh fuel to isolate the problem to the motor or the boat. Do you have fuel in the boat, make sure you are not empty??

So this has gone from bad to worse. My dealer is saying my entire fuel system is full of water & the injectors & fuel rails have to be removed & cleaned. They also asked me if I had worked on the vst myself said something about pump o ring or gasket not in place ??? I don't understand how fuel system can be full of water & the onboard filter have none.
And no I have not worked on this motor other than to change the oil

NEVER use ethanol. Maybe in a car if you burn it all in short time frame. If gas tank is putting on top and deck not sealed water can get in. Condensation. Ethanol turns to water fast. Sure your motor is fine. Hope it works out.

when I bought this motor I asked & the dealer said ethanol was fine to use during the summer but in the fall when fishing season is nearing an end to start useing non ethanol because ya don't want ethanol gas sitting over the winter so that's what iv done
