Default Suzuki df250 prop reccomendation

Current setup
df 250 on Armstrong bracket
Steiger 23 dv Miami

Current prop- 3-16-18.5r
Hole shot is lacking but mid range and top end is phenomenal. Is there a 4 blade out there that will improve the hole shot and retain midrange, maybe a solas?

Tried 3 powertech lfs4 in 15,16,17 pitch and none worked worth a darn. The 16 pitch was close and provided a great hole shot but had no mid and ran rpms up too fast. 17 was much too steep and the 15 slipped like mad.

With the current 3x16x18.5 what RPM do you get at WOT with trim?

So you’re getting good rpm so I’m thinking your prop is good. If you go down to a 3x16x17 you can get faster hole shot but you’ll probably hit the rev limiter and sacrifice efficiency.
I would check and see if you can get some more negative trim so it planes faster. What year and model 250?
engine height can play a roll as well. Can you see the cavitation plate when you are up running on ok plane? Maybe the motor is mounted to low.
