Default Milky fluid in trim cylinder(with pics)

I pulled my boat off its mooring and saw milky fluid running out from the trim cylinder. It still operates normally. Is this important enough to have fixed now or can it wait a few months? I hate losing primo fishing season time. The engine is a 2002 Suzuki DF115. About 475 hours.

Damage is pretty much done at this point, water is in the trim unit. You will keep losing fluid and eventually lose trim unless you keep topping it off. I would fix it sooner then later to prevent any internal damage from to much water being in there but it should still work for the time being.

OK, thanks for the advice. I will get it fixed now. Losing trim would be a big problem.
