Default Need to replace batteries 2017 DF300

Looking to get new batteries what do you guys recommend. I have the xtra cable from Suzuki to charge the other battery from the motor. I was thinking of going with a dual purpose for battery 1 and a deep cycle for battery 2. Any suggestions the batteries I have now are interstates thanks

I use all interstate deep cycle batteries and have never had a problem. Suzuki recommends a cranking/starting battery but I have not seen issues with the deep cycles.

That’s exactly what I have been running for couple of seasons now and like always I have been reading on the internet and getting confused lol. Any thoughts on AGMs what does the alternator put out will it kill the AGMs?

In my personal boats I run AGM's with no issue, A single 200 suzuki charging 2 gp31's and then quad 350 suzuki's charging 6 gp31's. On the big boat if you're running electronics, pumps and stereo(5 amps) all day and only idling or off then yes battery's get weak but otherwise good to go.
