Default Tilt issue after contact

This evening we were idling along a hit something submerged. Did not hit hard . Motor (300 AP) runs fine and no visible damage to foot or prop, however my tilt quit working. Any ideas? Turned key off & on, adjusted tilt limiter both ways, tried from motor and throttle, you can hear faint click, but nothing from motor, up or down.

Little strange why the impact would affect trim but could be coincidental. If you hear clicking thats probably the trim relay so you might have a bad trim motor or even that relay. You’ll have to put power directly to the trim motor wires to determine.

Thanks for the reply. I continued searching site and found an older response where you detailed locating the plug to test the motor; it was the motor. Apparently the jarring from impact did something to the electric motor. When we lifted the motor, to put on chocks and access the motor, we beat on the tilt motor a little with the screw driver handle and it started working.
