Default Suzuki engine interface cable V2.9.4

Hi Mike

The Suzuki interface cable version 2.9.4 (running .swup software) cable is supposed to work with engines from 2008-2012. I I am correct?

What success rate have you/customers had running this version cable with 2008-2010 engines in particular?

I have tested V 2.9.0 in .luf software and it is ridiculously unstable on my 2010 DF115 - data drops out every 10-15 minutes and has to be reset by doing an auto-select. But then drops out again. Basically its un-usable.

I also hear many reports of others who have attempted to use the new V2.9.0 (.swup) cables with similar data dropout problems, or with crazy fuel flow readings that is like 10 x what it should be.

Perhaps the new 2.9.04 version has addressed these issues - any knowledge on that?

many thanks

Grant

Hello,
I have attached the latest digital gauge guide from suzuki, we simply refer to this for info and do not stray from it. This is what suzuki recommends and supports, beyond that we do not try different variations. And we try not to mess with smis gauges in general anymore because of all the issues in the past, if a customer has problems with them on a supported motor then they need to get a new gauge and new interface. We have spent 100's of hours playing with and updating software only to come back and have issues so we try and stay away.
The new 294 and 354 interface versions are supposed to fix the glitchy data loss issues we have seen, in my experience so far they have worked and are doing good
