Default New DF200a intermittent surge 8 hours

My local mechanic is stumped and said he may have to contact Suzuki. Hereís what it was doing to warrant service.

While running at higher rpms, I noticed the motor almost instantly lose power for a split second, then resume normal operation immediately almost throwing you off the boat.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I would check all your fuel line and filter connections to make sure you are not sucking air. Double check all electrical connections and harness to make sure they are clean and tight.

IAC does not do anything at higher speed only idle rpm's.

It seems electrical since it happens very quickly.

All new fuel lines, but the mechanic ventured to say that he thinks he found the issue with a small section of the inner liner within the fuel line. He explained, fuel flow probably isnít being supplied to the VST quick enough at the higher rpmís and is momentarily cutting out. 🤷*♂️ We shall see. However, upon seeing it today.....they managed to put a large scratch in the lower cowling section thatís about the size of a half dollar that Iím not happy about.
