Hey guys,
To repower a Hydra Sports 2796 cc with suzuki 250aps would you have to drill new bolt holes or will the existing ones at 26 inches on center be ok?

Still fine tuning the engine height but seems to be good so far. The transom does sit lower but that was expected. Hoping to test it out again in a couple of days and then put some powertech props on. If you want send me your number and we can chat.

Look for my thread on re re-powering this very same boat. I have zuks 250, went through a lot getting it dialed in, the props I have are Bravos four blades 23 pitch.

Ultimately yes I am happy. This winter I am going to bring the engine up one more hole and add some wedges. I am running powertech 16 inch four blades 19 pitch. I am getting 6050 rpm doing 52 mph. For now it's time to fish.

so the zukes are kinda pain in the butt on these hulls, its sounding like
amazes me a boat this big and beamy , even knows theres another 180 lbs back there
