My 26 has West Marine batteries, my 23 has Diehards. Buy whichever big name brand is on sale and take care of them.

Usually Walmart is my goto for bat's. Bought a bat in summer of'17 for my 19cc at Autozone because it was closest and the bat only lasted 15months, come to find out their warranty is only 1 yr. As far as I know Walmart is 3yrs, unless it's changed.
WTBS, I'm in the market for 3 bat's, 2 grp 29's and a grp 26, and will probably go to Cabela's this time only because I have a pocket full of gift cards which will save me over $400.

I have a couple from NAPAs that have to be at least 5 years old. Aren't all batteries made by like two manufacturers?

My interstate wet cell gave me 5 years on them. Want to go to AGM, prices are all over the map. Group 31’s range from $200 to $400. What’s the difference?

Agreed on the lack of variance in terms of quality with the wet cells (that's been my experience, anyway). As for which type, I go with AGM due to lower maintenance. I've got three (one starter, two in parallel to serve as house). They live in a tight spot and are a PIA to get in/out so I just leave them on the boat all winter for storage. I'm on my fourth year with them and haven't noticed any reduction of capacity at all. If I was taking them off the boat each season I wouldn't have spent the extra cash, and instead just gone to Walmart to get the good ole' 31 ACME wet cell.

Ive had very good luck with Duracell batteries as well. Sams carries them but also Batteries Plus locations. Also a lot of time Batteries plus gives a 10% discount if you order online and pick up in store.

I've seen a place down here advertising used recharged bat's and wondered what percentage they were brought back to and how long they lasted?
