Default A place to get the drug test for a OUPV/Masters renewal

Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to get the drug test required for your OUPV/Masters renewals done that is in Boston?

I can't remember or find the name of the place I used to get my OUPV, I remember it was located over by North Station.

Do you have any quest diagnostics in your area?

Its been awhile, however when I signed up for APCA Drug Testing Consortium, I believe they ordered the test/appointment from one of their vendors (in my case Quest) based on your location. May not hurt to reach out to them as to stay current, you need to enroll in a random program anyway...

Any Quest location will test you. You should sign up to American Drug Testing Consortium. It's 60 dollars a year and you pay 60 or 65 for a test if your randomly selected. I've been tested 2 times in 5 years I think. Both right after going through a backround check. One a CCW the other was a security position.

The last one I did was right off State or Milk in some basement. I want to say it was through Quest.

I signed up for The Maritime Consortium at Home - MARITIME CONSORTIUM INC..

As I understand it, you need to be enrolled in a random drug testing program... not just pass 1 test. Here is some info I found on the requirements.

Acceptable proof of meeting the captain’s license drug testing requirements can be any one of the following:
  • A completed captain’s license drug test form in report or letter form signed by the Medical Review Officer (MRO) or authorized representative of a consortium showing that you passed a chemical test for dangerous drugs conducted in accordance with 49 CFR 40 within the six previous months with no subsequent positive drug tests during the remainder of the six month period.
  • A letter on company or consortium stationary signed by the authorized official that administers the drug testing program stating that you passed a pre-employment or periodic test for dangerous drugs within the previous six months with no subsequent positive drug tests during the remainder of the six month period.
  • A letter on company or consortium stationary signed by the authorized official that administers the drug testing program stating that you have been subjected to a random drug testing required by 46 CFR 16.230 for at least 60 days during the previous 185 days and didn’t fail or refuse to participate in any required chemical test.
  • If you’re an active U.S. Duty member, a letter from your command stating that you have been subjected to random drug testing for the past six months and have not failed or refused to participate in any required tests.
Random testing letters are not accepted for reserve military members since they are only subject to testing during monthly drills. However, if you’re a reserve or active duty member and passed a required chemical test for dangerous drugs within the previous six months, then you may submit a letter from your command stating this.
