How do you figure? I don't see it.

I mean there's been pics, people saw it happen...not following you. The guy's in the hospital, what news would you expect?

Wife is from Boston, I'm from CT & RI we met on the Cape 20 years ago we were looking for a place to take the family on vacation this summer, she said how about the Cape I said are you going to allow the kids to swim she looked at me eyes all crooked. I said sorry big difference between a Great White bite and a sandbar shark and if I see bait all over the beach I don't swim, with all of the seals it's the same thing, not for me.

It's JAWS all over again, the Cape better get rid of the seals before tourism goes out the window.
you're dreaming. the rental market on the cape has been out of sight. these things have no significant impact on tourism whatsoever. if anything I'd guess more are intrigued by the sharks than scared away by them. and they are in very specific areas of the cape. still plenty of shark free areas to swim. but I know, the panic and hyperbole is more fun, so carry on. cape will probably be desolate and abandoned by 2020...

You have to stop watching CNN. They don't cover anything that isn't related to Trump.

Your right for now......but I’d rather vacation in NJ or NH. A guy almost got cut in half when a white takes out a 10 year old they’ll learn. Oh and when someone dies some home owner 15 miles away is going to say oh it’s safe to swim where we are renter probably not going to believe them.

my problem is that the news today was that the guy was upgraded to good condition. Does he still have his leg?

When the kid gets eaten—not if, when—I’ll be curious how the folks who spend zero time in the outer Cape will justify that situation.

I saw today the guy was upgraded to “good” condition. Sure ain’t nothing good about those pictures of his leg. He’s from one of the wealthiest towns in Westchester county....litigation pending?
Litigation? Who and why would he sue?

absolute nonsense. This guy looks like he almost died. They closed the beach. Zero affect. You like to vacation in nj...my neighbor likes Canada. Who cares. The cape is busier than ever and these sharks aren’t going to stop that. But, like I said, keep living your jaws fantasy. It was a great movie. Maybe when all the tourists leave you can go catch the shark and They’ll build a statue of you. Keep telling yourself that anyway

Well maybe we should wait and see what happens before we get all bent out of shape about it.

I expect as long as at least SOME people continue to go swimming, the rental market will continue to be strong, if for no other reason the entertainment value...
