Default New Jersey marinas i.e. hoboken, jersey city, etc

Looking to stay ~2 months close to Manhattan on the boat

Looks like there are a few marinas on the hudson river

The ones that stand out are liberty harbor (not landing), hudson point, lincoln harbor, and shipyard.

Reviews are varying. I read that lincoln harbor is not protected and the docks are extremely loud and Shipyard is not protected at all. That leaves Hudson Point or Liberty Harbor. Anyone have any experience?

Can also consider other areas in NJ close-by

Looking for a some what safe area that is protected from the hudson river wakes, can accommodate a 44' vessel, 50 amp electric, and pump-out nearby.

Thanks!

Why not Liberty Landing? That has always struck me as the best of the Jersey side marinas, and there is a decent live aboard community including a buddy of mine.

Its extremely expensive. They do not offer a monthly rate. Almost $5,000 per month!

Have you considered trying some of the marinas back in Newark Bay, or towards Elizabeth ?

I don't know the marinas up here by me- but there is one in Edgewater... Grand Cove or the North Hudson Yacht Club

I initially looked into the marina in Hoboken some years ago, and it was absolutely ridiculous for the season

Edgewater Marina is well protected. There are several restaurants in a walking distance.

Liberty Landing and Liberty Harbor have the water taxi which makes a commute to lower Manhattan easy.

Well, it is New York Harbor. Emptying your head in the water makes the harbor cleaner . . .
