Default Dead Turtle Jeffreys 8/27

Anyone on the north end see that dead turtle floating. Brother in law took a picture but havent looked at the pic yet. Not sure if it was a loggerhead or leatherback but what a big animal. It had to be 6 feet long. Im also surprised it wasnt chewed on by sharks. Anyone see these things alive this far north? I see them in the canyons all the time but not so much up here.

We saw a massive turtle while fishing the Rock-pile a few weekends ago. Shame if it's the same one. It's head was the size of a freaking beach ball.

I think my son saw one giant fishing there, about the same time. I confirm area and time when he gets in a bit later!

We were on the northeast end in about 180 ft of water. I thought it was a seal at first and was surprised when we motored over... left a big slick behind it too.

Last time I saw some was like 3 or 4 years ago when the water was real warm, there were a few hanging by the grounds on the north side of Ipswich bay. Nothing that size though.

Looks like something out of a Stephen King movie.
