Default Dock restaurants in NJ?

Hi all,

I was wondering what are some of your favorite restaurants to pull up to after a long day of fishing? I used to live in Miami and they had so many places to choose from. One of my favorite things to do after a day of fishing was having my catch cooked for me by the restaurant n having a few too many cocktails. Anything like that in Jersey?

Thanks for the response. That place Looks a little too fancy for me. I might check it out at some point this summer tho. It doesn't look like there are many options out here.

Just looked up waypoint. I like what I see. Looking forward to checking it out. Thanks. Any other recommendations are obviously welcome. Would be cool to check out a few of the places recommended this summer.

Jersey is pretty big lol. Which part will you be boating in? Central jersey has dozens that come to mind.

I live in North Jersey so anything south of barnegat is probably not really feasible for me. But I'm sure there are other people viewing this post that would be interested in the more southern locations.

Bakers Water Street and Martells. They aren't fancy if you sit outside and dine.

There are also a few at the mouth of the Navesink River in Highlands (Sandy Hook area). Windansea, Bahrs, and a few others. Windansea has dock and dine. The others pick you up in a tender.

Jack Baker's Wharfside & his Lobster Shanty next door as well as the Shrimp Box - have boat docking

If you're going to Waypoint 622, def go to The Sandbar but they don't have docking, to my knowledge.

Slower day you might be able to get at end of gas dock at either Brielle YC or Hoffman's. Maybe ask both if there's a place to tie up for a bit to go eat (then tip them).

Shrimp Box just inside the Manasquan Inlet. Not a lot of dock space, but good food.

These are the ones I go to.

Captains Inn - Forked River This is my favorite.
Water Edge - Bayville I got married there and the bar cut us off early
The Cove - Bayville Cool beach and horse shoes. Food is so-so
Water Street - Toms River
Pontoon Boat - Tices Shoal. They sell hot dogs, ice cream and sometimes pulled pork sandwiches.
