Surprised I didnít see more Fatherís Day boaters out there enjoying perfect weather yesterday. Fished lake Atlanticís little egg reef and garden state south. Only saw 3-4 other boats. Enjoyed the weather, not so much the fishing. Few short flounder and sea robin. First time with my new to me boat on the reefs. Slowly learning the ropes.

LEI gave up a 24 & 19 this morning along with 4-5 shorts, a few sea robins, a skate or 2, and a barely legal seabass-thrown back.
saw a bunch of cownose/manta rays too.
winds picked up a little afternoon so we headed inside. Tried the bay for a bit- but gave up quick

Anything biting inside the inlet? I was thinking of trying out some areas inside behind the barrel channel. Iíve spent a lot of time in Barnegat bay but almost none in little egg, aside from passing through on trips down to AC. Thanks

We were out yesterday just after 6am. Spent the whole time on LE reef. Pink gulp seemed to be the favored bait. Picked up a few small sea bass, tons of robins, short fluke and what appeared to be two juvenile ling? Anyway, we managed to keep 4 fluke up to 23Ē, so I canít be too sad about it.

As far as Great Bay fishing- I hear there are still fluke being caught in and around the stink house, but you have to weed through the shorts and grass.

Tight lines, boys.

the old fish factory. Canít miss it once you enter the inlet. Big rusty water tower surrounded by caved in and twisted steel.

I was positive The Toxic Avenger was filmed there but it's not a location listed. It must be another movie.

I've never heard of any movie filmed there, I've been looking at it my entire life, I believe that I would recognize it in a movie. It would have made a great movie set for some post apocalypse theme before Sandy though. I have a great sunset pic of it the day before, I figured it would be the last time I would see it like that.

Default Inlet markers replaced Little Egg/Beach Haven?

I'm looking at a chart and it looks like there were two inlets at one time? My real question is I heard the markers were taken out due to shoaling. Have they been replaced? Thanks!

Little egg is marked. Beach Haven/the north cut is not.
