Default Our first giant bft

I Had to share ... im still shaking a couple days later
I went out with one of my best buds trevor and his brother matt on sunday, we took out his brothers boat "miss madeline". We steamed out to a spot just off stellwagen and after a couple hours one of the 80's started screaming off with a beautiful fish, After 2+ hours, a couple miles of chasing, and a couple of broken rod holders matt stuck a dart in it and we hauled aboard, (with the help of a couple other guys from another boat). She taped out at 91". It was one of the craziest experiences of my life as i'm sure anyone who has caught one can attest to and the first giant bft for all three of us. That is one huge checkmark off the bucket list.

Congratulations on a great catch! what kind of boat is that? It has beautiful lines - looks like a 23 Seacraft (inboard?)

Hooked for life is an understatement! Jigged up whiting for bait, and you guessed it a 23 seacraft with An i/o

Nice!

I'm surprised you didn't call the buyers and have them meet you at the dock. What did you end up doing with it?

Awesome fish and a sweet ride. I like the teak bolsters, give the gunnel a wider appearance in the back of the boat.
