It's been nearly 10 years since I've hit the Worcester show. Mainly because I found it used to be geared a bit more on the Hunting side. I usually wait for Providence, RI as that's all Fishing.
Has this changed?? How is the Fishing expo these days in Worcester?
The show is this weekend I believe....

I went for the first time in 15 years and was disappointed. The selection of reels and rods was horrible, especially for saltwater. Some manufacturer from Illinois, no factory reps for St.Croix or Shimano anymore. Most of the boats and fishing was geared to BASS. Too many window replacement vendors and other stuff nothing to do with fishing or hunting. The speakers were good. I was happy to see Dave Pickering talk striped bass and Capt Ralph from Wicked Tuna was in a good mood. Save your money and time for the Providence show at the end of March.
