It's pretty early, but I'd like to know which boats are good for toggin'. The admiral loves to fish for them, and this fall I'd like to take her out on a good boat. Jersey shore only, please.

We used to kill them in LIS, off Westport, and in Stratford Shoal Middle Ground, but don't have a boat any more.

Old timers may remember my old friends, the Duchio Family who ran a head boat out of that area.

I think the Dauntless in Point Pleasant sails for them.

I used to hit the tog boats a lot. Dauntless in Point, Ocean Explorer in Belmar, and Big Mohawk in Belmar were always my go to boats.

Do you want to fish north, central or South? South would be Porgy IV out of Cape May or jump on an open charter with Adam Bomb Sportfishing, no one better in South Jersey than Adam, it's a little more $$ for the open charter but at the same time everything is included except lunch, and fishing w/ 6 is much better than 36!
