Default Blizzard of 2013

I have two feet outside my house in Metro West Boston. My trailer boat is down the Cape, likely only a foot of snow there.

Do you think my shrink-wrap on the boat will hold up to the weight of the snow?

We have to dig out today, travel ban still in effect. I might not get down to the Cape until later in the week to check on property. High tide in coastal areas today. Stay safe everyone!

If your shrink wrap was done properly the snow should not even stay on the plastic, if it was done improperly and has snow on it then it very well may be collapsed.

Problem is the first 8-10 inches that fell down here in SE CT was a wet and very heavy snow. It turned over to a powder sometime during the night which helps out. Still its all a big mess.

"travel ban still in effect" What a fkn joke.

NO ONE is going to tell me I can't go check in on my elderly parents when I'm done shoveling/snowblowing out. I'm so sick of the nanny state bullshit.

FU governor, mema, media and anyone else who thinks this bullshit is OK. I'll be on my way to Quincy shortly travel ban or not.

I'm in a complete fustercluck right now. Supposed to do a boat show in Hyannis, got cancelled and I'm at the holiday inn, wife's work put her up in Boston for 2 nights and my son is at grandma and grandpas without heat or power. So now I gotta go get him and bring him to the hotel... What a nightmare. An at hole I have the genny ready, snowblower ready and I'm stuck here! Well one more hotel bar dinner and continental breakfast won't kill me.

More than 2 feet south of boston. Lost power for about 30 min and then it came back on. Fortunately I used the snowblower and shoveled at 4" of real heavy stuff and then again with another 12" before I went to bed. This morn another 12" but it was much lighter. A lot of snow out there.....
Need to check on the Marshfield beach house. Didn't get my nightly status email with the temperature data, so must have lost power or internet.
It looked like a sizable tide last night. Hopefully all is well.

Snow banks taller than Nina in front of my house mean an average storm. Snow banks taller than Joey mean a blizzard... ;-)

The tide went halfway up the A&P parking lot on Nantucket. That's crazy!

I just parked the plow truck after 20 hrs of foreward and reverse. I'm beat but the good news is that I have power.

Default Soth East Nh 40 miles inland

25" of the light fluffy stuff, never lost power, very unusual, boat is shrink wrapped behind the house, looks ok. The coast did not fare so well.
