From reading your posts I'm guessing that you're at the Oxbow as well. I stopped by there today but like you I couldn't get to the docks due to flooding. We're on B dock and from what I could see our boat is fine. Sounds like the river pretty much crested today:

Here is a video of Narragansett Bay I took during the storm. This is at the end of my street. That was a foundation of a house that was there in 1938. Now all the kids paint it for us.

Do a search on sudden strike's posts. Probably the rudest most obnoxious member on THT.

I wouldn't do business with him if my life depended on it.

Do you REALLY think I need business from THT like you to survive?? NOT!!! The prices I give on here are much lower than my normal prices. If you want to pay more for product go right ahead. I don't care which is why I can speak my mind and not worry I will hurt someones feelings. I have seen a lot of pictures and NONE come close to Andrew and you should be thankful of that. If you think that losing business will stop me from posting my opinon you are wrong. You ever heard about free speech???

Wow, you sound like the coolest kid on the block. A real one upper.
There's always a worse storm somewhere. We're not talking about what happened 10 yrs ago, we're talking about some legitimate devestation that happened HERE just A FEW DAYS AGO. It may not be as bad as Andrew, but is was bad enough to kill over 20 people and cause some major damage to a region that is not familiar with hurricanes.
That's right... People died, so have some respect asshole!
I'm sure as hell not buying anything from Sudden Strike Fishing!

First, SSF you are the only one that has made the comparison from Irene to Andrew.

Secondly, building codes in Florida prior to Andrew were crap compared to the Northeast

Lastly, weren't you taught at a young age that in sensitive situations, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.

Pretty simple actually.

Damn, are looking for people top get hurt here , suffer larger property losses?
More human deaths?
I don't think you hear folks from the NorthEast chittin on you about small snow storms, while we deal with Nor'easters on a regular basis.
A disaster is a disaster, no matter what shape or form!
Aren't we all Americans here on the same side, crap the way you talk sounds like the Americans against the Afghani's!

Grow up!

Some people really have to be assholes and you sir are the definition!

I will gladly go somewhere else and pay more for a product as long as I know you are not getting any of my money.

To add, SuddenStrikeFishing.com redirects me to suddenstrikejigs.com, wow what a shitty website. I assume you have no money and need the business as you don't even have a decent email address. Businesses using @aol.com are known scammers and informed people know not to do business with such a shady business. Maybe now more people will take notice.

Yeah, but this Nor'Easter came out of the South-SouthEast. It was amazing in the harbor with the Storm gates shut, can only imagine what it would have been like with them open and the storm surge inside.

If you notice, the boats that all got damaged were Sailboats on morings.
